Ping Pong is a Stockholm based company that develops software within the e-learning industry. They approached me with the need of creating a new visual identity system to support the imminent launch of a new product (Baloolearning). The only available design piece I had at my disposal was the logo (top) and nothing but some RGB colour codes.
First I set off to make the logo a bit more versatile by creating a "negative" alternative version with white text but keeping the red element, followed by finding the Pantone match for the red accent colour.
Then I followed my very own rule "Work with what you have before inventing something new", and so I did, exploring the bouncing ball piece and breaking it down to its simplest form. Then taking that form and evolving it into a modular design element.
Simple and efficient, reusable time and time again, even with multiple layers if needed, but still keeping the dynamism of the bouncing ball element present in the original logo.
Some examples of booth backdrop.
Logo created for the new product Baloolearning, and implementation in a flyer cover with an alternate colour scheme.
Proposal for a branded pop-socket giveaway.
