The development team at Bannerflow has a long time tradition of dedicating one full week per year to just killing bugs in the platform. Something they call “Kill week”. Part of this tradition is having a heavy metal inspired t-shirt for the whole team to wear. A long time heavy metal fan myself, I could not resist volunteering for the job and this was the result.
The main concept played on the fact that the company logo sports a butterfly and that butterflies are also bugs. So the bug-killing parallel was really staring me in the face the whole time.
Every element was designed on paper first, then vectorised in Adobe Illustrator for for refinement, colouring, texturing, and shading.
